Terms of Service

Last updated: April 22, 2026

Welcome to BotAudit. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of BotAudit's website, tracking script, dashboard, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

BotAudit provides a JavaScript tracking script that records visitor data on your website and classifies traffic as Human, Suspicious, or Bot. You can view this data in a dashboard, filter it, and export it as CSV to support ad-platform refund requests or internal analysis.

2. Your Account

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

4. Subscriptions & Billing

5. Your Data

You own the data collected by the tracking script on your sites. We store it, process it, and make it available to you through the dashboard. We do not sell or share this data with third parties except as required to operate the Service — see our Privacy Policy.

Data retention is tied to your plan. If you downgrade or cancel, data older than your new plan's retention window may be deleted.

6. Visitors' Privacy

When you deploy our tracking script, you are the data controller with respect to your site's visitors; BotAudit is the data processor. You are responsible for complying with applicable privacy laws (including GDPR, CCPA, and similar regulations), for providing visitors with appropriate notice, and for obtaining consent where required.

7. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or fail to pay. Upon termination, your access ends and your data may be deleted after a reasonable grace period.

8. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BotAudit's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or lost-profits damages.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-product notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
